So the most coveted jacket in sport is once again on Scottie Scheffler's shoulders.

You can read all about how the world number one won the Masters for a second time after a commanding performance at Augusta National in our report.

What a week for the soon to be new dad.

Right that's us done for another Masters but we'll be back in just under a month for the US PGA Championship at Valhalla. So thanks for joining us and we shall see you all very soon.

Master champion Scottie Scheffler has been up doing his bit at the trophy presentation: "I'd like to thank chairman Ridley and the Augusta National for putting on a great tournament. There is something about driving down Magnolia Lane, the world just melts away and it is such a treat to come and play golf here every year.

"To the staff at the club, firstly with the locker-room guys, I appreciate you guys, staying late for me last night and keeping those cool tubs open for me. I really appreciate the long hours. Thank you very much.

"Thanks to the volunteers out here. This event seems seamless and every year we come back it just appears to be getting better so thank you for that. Thank you to the patrons. I try to not look up as much as possible but I do really hear all the cheers and support.

"Today I tried to keep my head down as much as I could but I could feel all your energy and look forward to being with you for many years to come."

Collin Morikawa says greed got the better of him on Sunday, but hopes going close here can kick-start his season: "I got greedy. When you're playing really good, you don't get greedy, and I got greedy on 9, I got greedy on 11.

"I just was trying to hit it a little bit too close, and greed can get the best of us. I'm going to take a lot from this week.

"It's been a rough season so far, but hopefully this is kind of the turning point. I've seen a lot of good, and watching Scottie today, I know it's doable for me, I've just got to put the pieces together."

Nope, not Scottie Scheffler, but his caddie Ted Scott is the real master of Augusta as this was his fourth Masters title on the bag.

And there's a spooky similarity in those wins as he was previously on the bag of Bubba Watson for his wins in 2012 and 2024.

Fast forward a decade as he's now won with Scheffler in 2022 and 2024...

More from two-time Masters champion, Scottie Scheffler, who is visibly emotional when asked if he has a message for his wife Meredith, who is pregnant: "I am coming home. I will be home as quick as I can. I love you and I am coming home.

"You are going to make me cry. It is a very special time for us. I can't put it into words what it means to win this tournament again and I can't put into words what it's going to be like to be a father for the first time. I am looking forward to getting home and celebrating with Meredith, it has been a long week here without her."

  6. 'I was shaking a little bit on the first tee'published at 00:34 British Summer Time 15 April

    Aberg -7 (69)

Scottie Scheffler will rightly take the plaudits but Swedish debutant Ludvig Aberg is sure to have grown his army of admirers with his second place finish in his first major championship: "I haven't really thought about it just yet. I think there's a lot of things that we did very well this week, especially today, because I came out and I was very nervous, obviously. I was shaking a little bit on the first tee. Thoseare all things that I really enjoy doing. We said that it's a privilege to be able to hit all these shots out here, and it's aprivilege to be in this position.

"Hitting it in the water on 11 wasn't ideal, but we also just kept playing. That's what me and my caddie Joe and our team has been trying to work on. Just keep playing no matter what happens. I think we did that very well today, and it just showed that we stuck to what we did, and it ended up being pretty okay.

"Finishing well in the Masters is a dream come true. Just playing here has been such a privilege, and I'm super proud of myself and the team and all the work that we're doing."

Scottie Scheffler has won the Masters at a canter - he's statistically head and shoulders above everyone else on the PGA Tour, and even here with the LIV Golf players added nobody could touch him.

He's got the mentality that pressure doesn't seem to hurt him, and with the likes of Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland and Brooks Koepka all struggling to find their games, who can stop him?

Could Scheffler win all the majors this year? Vote with your thumbs...

There was a nice moment for Tommy Fleetwood with his stand-in caddie Gray Moore as he finished his round earlier.

Murray used to be the Augusta National caddie master and joined Fleetwood this week with his usual right hand Ian Finnis unable to be at Augusta through illness.

Fleetwood said after his round: "I always enjoy seeing him and spending time with him at Augusta every time the Masters comes around, but actually being out with him was a real treat.

"I just hope he's had as good a time with me as I have with him this week."

Andrew: Two green jackets by the age of 27, and the way Scottie Scheffler hits his irons and methodically plots his way around the golf course, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that he goes on to win five or six times at the Masters like Tiger or Jack.

  11. Butler Cabinpublished at 00:29 British Summer Time 15 April

    00:29 BST 15 April

It's always awkward when the former champion gives the new champion their Green Jacket - it's quite tight in there and both Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm are big units.

And Rahm has to just try and slink away out of the picture once he's done his duty. It's wonderfully awkward!

World number one Scottie Scheffler and now a two-time Masters champion: "I did my best to stay clam and stay patient on the course and was able to make some key shots and putts to keep my round going. Ludvig [Aberg] played great today and made a move on me and I was fortunate to hold him off towards the end.

"I hadn't hit many good iron shots which is a bit unusual for me. i hit some good ones but they weren't ending up where they were supposed to. I had that bogey on seven, birdie putt on eight and going to nine it was nice to get the feeling of hitting a really well-hit shot and it set me up for the back nine."

  13. Presentation time....published at 00:22 British Summer Time 15 April

    00:22 BST 15 April

It's almost time for the Butler Cabin presentation when Jon Rahm will hand Scottie Scheffler his second Green Jacket - I wonder if they just give him the one he already has from his locker?

Stay tuned, this is often must-see TV, maybe not always for the right reasons...

Not many players have come into the Masters as bigger favourites than Scottie Scheffler this week - but he's handled the pressure superbly.

The world number one, winner of The Players Championship and Masters champion in 2022, the form he's been in many thought it would be a procession.

With tough conditions, he was always near the head of affairs but it was tight going into today, but around the turn he really put his foot down and pulled away with all the class in the world.

To do that, at this tournament, under that pressure shows he's got an elite mentality to go with his elite talent.

Scottie Scheffler becomes the 18th player to win the Masters multiple times.

He is also be the fourth-youngest to achieve that feat, behind Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Seve Ballesteros.

    Scheffler -11, Morikawa -4 (F)

Scheffler taps in to seal a four-shot victory over Ludvig Aberg and claim his second Masters title.

There's an emotional embrace with his caddie Ted Scott and a few tears start to brim before he lets out a few fist pumps and whoops of delight as he exits the green.

Family and friends greet him as he then takes that recognisable walk up the hill back towards the clubhouse with high-fives flowing.

    Scheffler -11, Morikawa -5 (17)

Oh no, Collin Morikawa is under a bush on 18 and doesn't have a shot. He doesn't fancy going left handed so bunts the ball backwards down the fairway.

That's not what he needs right now.

  20. Aberg second on major championship debutpublished at 23:50 British Summer Time 14 April

    23:50 BST 14 April

    Homa -4 (73), Aberg -7 (69)

No final birdie for Max Homa, who shunts his putt left. But it is still his best ever finish in a major championship.

No chip-in birdie for Ludvig Aberg either but a second-place finish in his first ever major championship suggests the young Swedish golfer is very much set to sit at golf's top table for some time to come.
