Billionaire workaholic Oren is pushed into a vacation by his family and chooses the Sahara Desert for his destination. Mary is a pilot who flies tourists all over the place so she can remain flying high. When their plane goes down, they have to learn to work together in a different world, to survive. Terrific characters, vivid locales, entertaining situations and scary events. Great storyline that brings twists, deep emotions, chemistry and more into a totally engrossing adventure, ending with a terrific finish. This is my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and characters. It is a sweet romance between pilot Mary and billionaire Oren. These two likeable souls and the unconventional plot make for an enjoyable read. What starts out as a survival trek in the desert turns into something more. It is a quick read with drama and humor, along with passion and love, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. professional pilot and professional workaholic come crashing down in more than just the plane, these two needed this reality check to see that all their lives are separate they are not so far apart from each other. Now that they have to rely on each other for survival things get even hotter under the scorching sun of the Sahara. No that is not a mirage in front of you that is your future looking at you for guidance and safety. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love in the Desert is a fast read with wonderful levels of danger that keeps you wondering what is next. Oren is a workaholic who is forced to take a vacation that turns into a nightmare when the plane goes down. Mary is an amazing pilot, but the company she works has a number of faults that makes her worry. When the plane she is flying goes down, she does everything she can to save to passengers. Good fast read as Oren and Mary work together, and discover more about each other and themselves. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good Once again Ms. Lang writes a good book and I would have given her a higher rating but near the end of the story, which it didn't need to be used at all, she uses that blasphemous "gd" word that I absolutely can NOT stand and is such a turn off for me that I immediately STOP reading a book.

Oren and Mary find themselves in the desert and their relationship starts to form due to extreme circumstances. I loved that Mary is not afraid to stand up to Oren and shows she is just as strong as, if not stronger than, any man. Oren and Mary are stranded in the desert, in a race against time, wrestling control, will they find love or more? This story was very reminiscent of Castaway minus the ocean and island, but also very very interesting.

Short story. Not at all realistic. Didn't get to know the characters well enough to really care about them.

This story was far too short to get any real feel for the characters apart from Oren being a whinger and Mary having endless patience. Because of this their relationship was not at all believable. The desert was very well described. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book
